MEMORANDUM 08/28/2017
To: Stockholders
From: Board of Directors, Little River Club
Re: Dependent Conduct on Club Property
Greetings: The Board of Directors has received numerous complaints regarding the behavior of minors on club property. These complaints include excessive and obvious alcohol consumption on club property and the rock bar, discourteous behavior toward neighbors and passersby, and noncompliance with rules regarding the use of club facilities (e.g. golf course). Pursuant to LRC bylaws, “members and their guests are requested to show consideration for neighbors, especially after dark and keep noise from parties to a minimum level.” Further, Arkansas state law prohibits underage alcohol consumption and displays of public indecency. The Board is firmly committed to the enforcement of these bylaws and state regulations through the use of our security personnel and the Little River County Sheriff’s department as needed. Please advise any dependents and guests of our intention to pursue the enforcement of the aforementioned rules and regulatory laws. In an effort to control these behaviors, the Board of Directors imposed a daily 1:00am curfew on all persons under 21 years of age. In addition, we will resume locking the River Road at 10:00pm each night and unlocking at 7:00am. Any fisherman needing entrance before 7:00am can obtain a key for early entry. We hope that all of our members will work together to ensure a safe, happy summer for all of our members and guests.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
