2017 Jr Week Rules
Members-Please note that the majority of these rules have safety implications. Therefore, it is critical that you review them carefully, and confirm that you and your children and guests fully understand and follow all rules at all times.
1. Junior Week is limited to children that are 18 years old and younger.
2. Guest bands may be purchased for $15, and no guest will be allowed to enter the Club or allowed to participate in Junior Week activities without a guest band. If a guest leaves at night, he or she will not be readmitted without prior notification.
3. The maximum number of guest bands a member is allowed to purchase is five.
4. If a guest band is lost, a new band must be purchased at the original price of $15. However, if the band is broken, there is no charge for replacement if the band is turned in to registration.
5. All children participating in Junior Week must be wearing an armband. Armbands may be purchased as stipulated on the Junior Week schedule, and an adult must be present at the time of purchase.
6. Older children (17/18) will be required to show a picture ID before entering the dance each night. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
7. With the exception of parents and chaperons, no one over the age of 18 will be allowed to attend the dances.
8. Children may only attend the dances intended for their age group. Note that the only exception is for fifteen year olds opting to attend the 12-14 dances.
9. All members and guests must be wearing an armband to be admitted to the dances.
10. Discretion and good taste in dress and style of dance should be used.
11. Guests will not be allowed to enter the Club unless the host member leaves their name with gate security. The manager and/or security will not be responsible for calling members in order to verify guests.
12. Club members will be held responsible for all guests registered under their name.
13. The possession or use of alcohol, drugs or tobacco by minors on the club grounds or rock bar will not be tolerated. Any minor violating this rule will be reported to their parent or host member and the Little River County Sheriff’s Department, and their guest band will be revoked for the remainder of Junior Week.
14. Cars that are parked at the clubhouse when the dances begin at 6:30 pm may not be moved until the dances are over at midnight.
15. Only adults 19 and older may drive all-terrain vehicles (gators, mules, etc) at the Club during Junior Week.
16. No Four-Wheelers are allowed to be driven at the Club during Junior Week.
17. Motorcycles can be used as transportation to and from the Club only by adults 19 and older. They will be parked upon entering, and no cruising will be allowed.
18. Teenagers that drive vehicles into the Club will be expected to park the vehicles at their cabin or the clubhouse during the dance. There will be NO cruising!! All members and guests are encouraged to ride bikes, golf carts or walk.
19. All golf carts should be registered by an adult at times and locations stipulated on the Junior Week schedule. Registration numbers must be displayed on the front and back of all golf carts.
20. Any golf cart being driven after dark must be equipped with stationary lights, NO FLASHLIGHTS! No golf carts are allowed on the course after dark.
21. During Junior Week, no child under 12 will be allowed to drive a golf cart without an adult present on the cart.
22. All golf cart riders must be seated in a seat or on the back bumper. There is to be no standing on a moving cart.
23. Golf cart drivers, bicyclists, and walkers need to remember that cars have the right-of-way.
24. Deliberate and/or multiple violations of rules pertaining to golf carts could result in the confiscation of the cart’s registration numbers.
25. Greens fees for guests 12 to 18 will be $1 per person per day excluding any Junior Week golf event. Ages 11 and under may play free, but must be accompanied by an adult.
26. All LRC golf course rules posted at the golf house apply during Junior Week.
27. For safety reasons, golfers must be aware of children playing on or near the golf course.
28. Joy riding on the course, day or night, will not be tolerated. Parents should remind their children and guests that they should not be on the course if they are not playing golf or involved in a Junior Week event.
29. All golf cart drivers need to be aware of stray balls coming from golfers teeing off next to the road.
30. Swimbands are honored Sunday through Friday of Junior Week and must be worn at the pool. Guest admission for pool use is $3 a day. Alternatively, a week long pass may be purchased for $10. Season passes will be honored.
31. Children under the age of 10 and all non-swimmers must be accompanied by a guardian, minimum age 16, at all times while at the pool.
32. Only children in the designated age group will be allowed at the pool during Junior Week sponsored swim meets and pool parties. Others will not be allowed in the pool area during these events.
33. Members and guests should respect the rights of others at all times during Junior Week. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from making excessive noise.
34. Curfew is 1:00 am and will be strictly enforced.
35. Children should not enter any cabin during the scavenger hunts without permission from the cabin owner, and they may not take items from porches or yards without the owner’s permission.
36. The river road will be closed nightly at 10:00 pm and will reopen each morning at 7:00 am. Fisherman should refer to the sign at the top of the river road.
37. No parking will be allowed on the River Road.
38. No minors are allowed to stay at a cabin during Junior Week without a member present.
39. All dogs must be on a leash or in a fenced area and no dogs are allowed to roam the club freely during Junior Week.
40. Adults should not smoke in the vicinity of children while they are participating in Junior Week events.
41. Parents/guardians, members/guests, chaperons/volunteers - NO ALCOHOLIC beverages will be allowed in the clubhouse, at the swimming pool or at children’s activities during Junior Week.
